Perfect Pushups - Good for a Home Workout

Sometimes you just don’t have time to go to the gym. So rather than making excuses, its good to have an alternative plan for getting a workout in at home. Whether you have a small collection of equipment at home or you just do bodyweight exercises, you can still get something done at home. Granted, the gym is always better, that’s why we call this plan B!

About 2 weeks ago I picked up a pair of the Perfect Pushup over at Target. I’ve seen the ads and am always very cautious with this sort of thing, but this one seemed simple enough to possibly be effective. If you haven’t seen these things, they’re basically like pushup bars but allow you to rotate your arms while doing the motion.

So far I’m impressed. I’ve been using them in the morning about 3 times a week for the last 2 weeks and they do a good job! You really get more out of your pushups this way. This is a product that I’d recommend you consider including in your arsenal for things that you can do at home!

These do work very well. I take them on the road when I travel and use them in the hotel room.

Similar to Push up pro but with better build quality. Twist movement lowers the strain on wrist, elbow and shoulder joint and at the same time increases the load at the shoulder muscles. Pretty nice piece of equipment overall.

You know what, I have heard about these. Actually the first time I saw them was on Snoop Dogs reality show, (don’t laugh…its shameful but true) he was having a push up contest with his son..it looked so difficult!

It’s a convenient tool for people like me who have no time to go to the gym. I’ll purchased two pairs for me & my brother. :D

I’ve been using these for about 6 months and absolutely love them. The thing I like most is the additional stretch you achieve from the elevated hand position. On the commercial the guy stops his descent at hand level. I go all the way to the floor and can tell a huge difference in my pecs and shoulders. I paid about $30 for these on amazon and recommend them to everyone.

those would give a greater range of motion, which is important within reason, it is a good idea to have some equipment for motivation while at home to go along with exercise and recreation done out of the home, like running to the park or cycling or swimming, I’m in California so we get great weather for year round recreation in the parks, but for many that live in colder areas, you really need something like that in the winter time to keep fit at home

I bought a pair of these a couple of months ago. In one sense they are totally unnecessary, but in other sense they are great to have in the living room, sitting there by the TV. Your eyes wonder, spot the pushup bars and figure while your there doing nothing you may as well do some push ups!

I’ve been looking to get some of these after watching a push-up exercise demo on youtube. I wasn’t sure how good they’d be but will go ahead and order some after your recommendation. Didn’t realize they were so cheap.

I have seen the commercial a couple of times and always wondered if they really help. After reading your assessment, I am going to go to Target and buy them.

It is amazing what just pushups can do too - have you seen the website 100 Pushup Challenge? It reminded me of that when I read this and I know a few people doing it.
