There is no reason why these restaurants would even need to cook in trans fats any way. This does say something about our country. It says we are trying to get healthier.

Trans Fats should be banned everywhere, but regardless if they say their food contains “zero” trans fatty acids, these vile lipids will still be present in super-heated oils that are often used in fast-food restaurants, IF they don’t change the oil or overuse the oil, etc. Lets just say, any rancid, low quality oil will be detrimental to your health in the long run; hence forth the greatness of home-cooking.
As for all the intentional use of trans fat in baked goods, pizzas, and whatnot: It should be banned around the globe! Cheers!
