Thanks John!

I've just heard too many people basically say how bad they are and feel for getting off track. And then they have a hard time getting back on track because they are focused on the negative. Focusing on the positive will always help you to move forward quicker.

Great advice John. You have to move forward and not beat yourself up about what happened yesterday.

I would have to agree! I think looking back only makes you feel worse. You just have to look forward and focus on progressing. You can't let it get you down!

I enjoyed this post. My problem is that I always start up and things are going well for about 3 or 4 weeks. Then I head off on a vacation and get back into town, I just don't feel like exercising again. It's very frustrating because once I get back into the routine of going to the gym I love it.

I agree 100% just get back on the wagon and keep going. If you beat your self up you'll just do it again.

It's okay to have a long workout hiatus. If you've did a lot of training in your life, you'll be able to spring back into shape in no time at all, unlike someone who hasn't worked out very much. They call that "muscle memory." Read up on it sometime; it's interesting...
