We did a post a several months ago about listening to music during your workout to stay in the zone. Here is a blog post from another site that gives a sample list of music to listen to when you’re working out. Of course, this list would need to be customized with your own music preferences. Make sure your music is upbeat to keep you moving and energized throughout your workout. Music can be a very powerful part of your overall workout.

Yeah, the other day I put all of my music on my laptop, and then moved it over to my mp3 player. Now I just keep it in one of my bags whenever I need to focus on something I pull it out. Admittedly, I need to do a better job working out, but it definitely helps me stay less distracted, whether i’m working out or just studying.
Sorry, ‘Queen’ and ‘Eye of the Tiger’ don’t quite do it for me.
‘Jay-Z and Linkin Park’ for the weights and ‘Ministry of Sound-Funky House Sessions’ for the cardio…heaven!
I agree, Queen and some of the older music isn’t quite my taste. You really do just have to find what works for you. Personally, I listen to some Live, STP, Collective Soul, or anything with a good beat to it that I’ve heard a lot so it more effectively drowns out the other noise without being distracting!
Paris hilton.
Paris hilton sex tape. Paris hilton video. Paris hilton.
How can anyone work out without music?
@lyrics Sometimes it is good to workout with music. It is more of a mental change than anything. I do it once in a while….usually when i forgot my mp3 player.
