Get Some New Recipe Ideas

Do you ever find yourself wondering what else you can eat, maybe even on a so-called ‘cheat day’? I know I do sometimes. I get tired every now and then of eating virtually the same type of foods all the time.

This is where recipe sites come in handy. Granted, not all of them are friendly for our particular lifestyle, but I think you can still get a lot of ideas from these sites. Then just tweak the recipe to your needs.

One really cool site for this is KeyIngredient.com. You can submit your own food recipe, view other recipes, and even add them to your own blog or whatever you want. Here’s an example:

Anyway, its a fun little site, check it out sometime and see what kind of recipes you can come up with and tweak to your enjoyment!

My favorite snack foods when I’m eating right are:

Cottage cheese, mixed with spoon full of natural peanut butter, and a scoop of sugar-free pudding mix.

    or

after work out shake, 2 scoops ON 100% whey, chocolate milk, spoon full of peanut butter and ice, blended.

Cravings can drive you right off of your diet. Usually it’s a craving for something from your favorite restaurant.

I like to take a top secret recipe from the restaurant and convert it into something healthy. Sometimes the recreation can actually taste better than the original.

Before you know, you’ll be craving your own healthy recipes.

  23. September 11th, 2008 | 10:46 am

I’ve always found that if you cook your foods differently you’ll end up with a different taste so if you lacking ingredients, try grilling your chicken breast instead of in the oven or perhaps try grilling your asparagus instead of steaming. Lightly coated with barbecue sauce will also enhance the flavor and light steak spice sprinkle also works good with grilled chicken breast.

I am curious about the marinate.

There are so many ways to do that including aging.

I am wondering if there are any special instructions regarding the timing of the marinate.

I have used a ketchup, soy sauce, melted butter combination before. I apply these directly on the chicken before roasting a leg quarter for one hour at 325 degrees.

However, I am not a marinate expert and would like some more instruction regarding time if that is at all possible.

    Thanks for the great post.

Thanks for the recipe, but I also hate low carb and low fat diets.

  131. February 14th, 2010 | 4:23 pm

forgot to add, that I’ve tried “Fat Loss 4 Idiots” diet and was very disappointed with the results. Anybody tried it? What’s your feedback?

  132. February 15th, 2010 | 9:20 pm

First I want to say that this recipe was terrific THE FIRST TIME I ate the result.

Unfortunately, I had plenty of leftovers, and left them out (covered) on the counter over a weekend.

When I came in on Sunday evening, I uncovered the remains. They still looked great. I ate them all down and they were scrumptious, and then I found about four hours later that I had acute food poisoning.

It was the most uncomfortable 24 hours of my life.

So, once again, the recipe was great, as long as you don’t add stupidity as a seasoning.

  150. August 26th, 2010 | 7:33 am

  151. September 3rd, 2010 | 12:02 pm

  152. September 5th, 2010 | 9:37 am

Good recipes are really just common sense. If you fix your food always use fresh ingredients and keep it simple. Proper seasoning is key so that your food isn’t boring, but recipe sites help to give you new ideas.

When there are problems with female health, women often ignore bacterial vaginosis symptoms or pass them off as simply poor vaginal hygiene. The problem is that many bacterial vaginosis symptoms are also similar to that of STDs, such as gonorrhea and chlamydia, so it is important for ladies to see their family planning doctor regularly to check up on any symptoms which could give clues to this infection.

Really those old recipes aren’t going to help us in reducing our weight nor they are sufficient in providing us the required amount of nutritions that are needed by our body to survive healthy. So changing the recipes of the food that we cook is necessary and we should try to make it healthier so as to live a healthy life. Thanks for sharing such a nice post.

I’ve been having a question hanging above my head, because I really want to find a recipe for the beluga caviar I buy at www.1caviar.com and I always eat in a very simple way, I just eat a few spoonfuls with a bit of cheese, but I’d like to find something more sophisticated that I could prepare for my friend when they come over. Thanks for the recommendation!
